The Kern Autism Network-Autism Society 18th Annual Autism Awareness Conference, scheduled for Friday, March 1, is already sold out. The lecturers this year, are Lori Ernsperger, Ph.D. who will be speaking on “Bullying and Autism,” and Laura Nagle, an adult with Asperger’s syndrome who runs a small architectural business. Given that the Centers for Disease Control report that approximately 1 in 88 children has been identified with an Autism spectrum disorder, this is important information and inspiration for everyone.
