Valley Achievement Center Visit

On May 22, 2014 our staff members Kay Kapler and Shari Stamps were invited to participate as vendors at a “Parent’s Night” meeting for families of children on the autism spectrum at Valley Achievement Center. The school director Jo Anna Vega met our staff at the Kern Autism Conference held on March 14th of this year and was excited to share our services with parents needing vision evaluations and assessments for their children diagnosed with autism. It was a fun, informative evening shared with several other venders exchanging information with families. Kay and Shari are looking forward to future in-services with the staff at Valley Achievement Center to raise awareness of the importance of the role vision has in improving the lives of children and adults on the autism spectrum.
